Lafayette and West Lafayette have plenty of activities to keep you busy on your USA travels. There is the Lafayette "Dancing in the Streets" festival which it is a 50's and 60's themed festival complete with classic custom cars and live music. Travel the USA and relive your youth while you are Dancing in the Streets in Lafayette!

The summer in Lafayette also brings the Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival. Many people travel the USA to hear top jazz and blues musicians play in Lafayette. There is also a two day Global Fest which is held every Labor Day weekend. The Global Fest hosts continuous stage entertainment and cultural displays from around the world. Admission to Global Fest is free.

If you are more interested in fiddles than guitars, Lafayette is home to the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering. The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering is a three day acoustic festival that features the best in old time, bluegrass, swing jazz fiddle, string band, Celtic and other ethnic music that attracts over 10,000 people annually. Travel the USA and see world class performers such as Alison Krauss and Union Station to Chris Thile and Nickel Creek.

As if the above was not enough to entice you to travel the USA to Lafayetette, there is also the Uptown jazz and blues festival and the Taste of Tippecanoe for your enjoyment as well.

If a unique event is what you are searching for when you travel the USA, Lafayette will not disappoint. The Feast of the Hunters' Moon is a fabulous re-enactment of a mid 1700's French fur trading post that is held on the historic grounds of Fort Ouiatenon. Thousands of people participate in this event to create an unforgettable experience for you and all the people who have traveled the USA to get here.
