The Buffalo, New York and Greater Niagara regions merge together to offer many interesting travel destinations. Buffalo attractions include culture, nightlife, major sporting events and natural wonders. When planning your next trip, make arrangements to come see what Buffalo tourism has to offer.

Buffalo, New York is only minutes from one of the natural wonders of the world – Niagara Falls. The American side of the Falls features a large park and a visitor’s center that offers helpful information. The Niagara Falls Seneca Casino is also located on the American side if you feel like trying your luck, or you can spend the night in a luxury suite in the Seneca Niagara Casino Hotel.

The Rainbow Bridge allows visitors to walk or drive into Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada Once visitors have passed through the Canadian customs check point, they can explore the interesting museums and shops that line the streets. There is a thriving nightlife and the Falls Casino for those who feel like trying their luck in a foreign country. The American and Canadian sides of the Falls are both vibrant every night of the week, all year round, with something to do.

Downtown Buffalo has a vibrant art community known as the Allentown district. It centers around Allen Street in Buffalo, and consists of several small music clubs and art galleries. Musicians and artists from around the world put their art on display in the Allentown venues, and at the annual Allentown Art Festival that happens in July and draws hundreds of thousands of people.

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery has art displays from local artists, and artists from all over the world. The gallery also hosts movie showings for independent movies, and concerts by local and national acts.

The Buffalo Science Museum is a common destination for Western New York school children every school year. The displays include educational information on how the science in the display works and its history. The Buffalo Science Museum has several interactive displays that will educate and entertain any visitor.

The Buffalo, New York area features two prominent professional sports team. The Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League play in the HSBC Arena located in downtown Buffalo. The arena is also home to many concert events and other sporting events throughout the year.

The Buffalo Bills of the National Football League play at Ralph Wilson Stadium, which is located only a few minutes south of Buffalo in Orchard Park, New York. The stadium is also home to some of the larger musical events of the season, as well as the annual playoff tournament for the various high school football leagues in the Western New York area.

North of Buffalo is a suburb called Lockport, New York. Lockport is famous for its Erie Canal Locks that visitors can still travel on during the spring and summer months. Lockport is also the home of the Canal Concerts, which is a series of free concert events put on by national touring musical acts.

The Buffalo, New York area is constantly undergoing improvements and additions that make it appealing to travelers. The summertime is filled with large concert events and festivals. In the winter the area is known for its skiing resorts as well as professional sporting events. A visit to Buffalo, New York will allow access to events and attractions that can be found nowhere else in the world.
